Welcome to the 14th Asian Aerosol Conference (AAC) 2025, hosted by the Indian Aerosol Science and Technology Association (IASTA). It’s a privilege to bring together scientists, researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers for high-level discussions on key topics within aerosol science, technology, and measurement.
IASTA is an organization of Indian scientists and engineers committed to advancing aerosol science and technology in India. IASTA aims to advance, support the collaboration among different national laboratories, encourage international participation, widening participation from industries and nurture the progress of aerosol science and technology areas and their applications nationwide.
AAC 2025 will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to exchange research advancements, discuss innovative methodologies, and address pressing global challenges related to air quality, atmospheric processes, and industrial applications. With a rich scientific program featuring plenary talks, technical sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops, the conference aims to facilitate the dissemination of cutting-edge knowledge while fostering interdisciplinary collaborations.

The Indian Aerosol Science and Technology Association (IASTA) is a professional organization for scientists and engineers endeavoring to advance aerosol research in the Indian context. The association provides a platform for exchanging knowledge, know-how, resources, and information among researchers, member organizations, industrial counterparts, and related disciplines by organizing conferences, technical meetings, lectures, and publications.

The name of the city, Mumbai is derived from patron deity the Mother Goddess Mumba Devi, worshiped by the earliest inhabitants the Kolis.
The District Mumbai City is situated on the West coast of India between 18˚ 52′ and 19˚ 04′ North latitudes and 72˚47′ and 72˚54′ East longitudes. It is surrounded on three sides by water, the open Arabian Sea to the West and South and Thane creek to the East. To the North it is bordered by Mumbai (Suburban) District.
It is the Southern part of Greater Mumbai Municipal corporation, which covers an area of 157.0 sq.kms as per the Surveyor General of India and has a population of 30,85,411 persons as per the Census 2011.
